The Ste. Marguerite 3 Powerhouse construction was one of the major projects for the Ste. Marguerite 3 (SM-3) power development.
Aecon was the general contractor for the project which involved construction and concrete work for an 810 MW underground powerhouse, including aspirators, metal-clad bus bar wells, valve wells, structural foundations of the switching yard, concrete work for the distributor, the excavation for the tailrace channel, various types of injection work, and the delivery and installation of wrought metals.
