Deerfoot Trail Improvements

Aecon is undertaking the Deerfoot Trail Improvements project in Calgary under two contracts. Deerfoot Trail is Alberta's busiest highway and a critical component in Calgary's transportation network.

The first contract involves the design and construction of improvements from Dougasdale Boulevard to north of Glenmore Trail. The scope of work includes constructing additional lanes and seven bridges, as well as the delivery of ramp and interchange improvements.

Under another contract, Aecon will construct improvements at Beddington Trail Northwest and 11th Street Northeast, including adding an additional lane in the north and southbound directions and building a ramp to connect 11th Street with Deerfoot Trail North and Beddington Trail.
